Here's a little bit about me.  I'm from Sonoma County, CA, but haven't lived there in about 10 years.  I went to school in Annapolis, MD, where I met my now husband.  We are so different, but we work together well.  I have two little kids, a girl and her baby brother.  I love my family and I'm so blessed to have them in my life.  We are currently Shanghai, China.

My photography is so important to me.  It's not only a creative expression, but it helps me to process my world.  As an introspective individual, I love being fully present in any situation, but find myself gaining even more from careful consideration after the fact.  Photography helps me do that.

I consider myself a Documentary and Fine Art Photographer.  The photos I have of my family are treasures to me, but I strive for them to reach outside of my family and enter into the realm of art.  I can see them and remember that moment because I don't try and capture a seated smile, but life as it happens in a way that is beautiful. I want to capture those same memories for my clients.   I am deeply passionate about delivering a photographic glimpse into the connections my clients have with their loved ones.

I am the Co-Creator and Editor in Chief of "The Long Way Home" magazine. A photography magazine dedicated to inspire the journey to Artist.
